Here's why: One of the 'Big Five' publishing firms has made an offer for my book, which they plan to republish in June, thereby giving it a whole new life. I'm honored, as are my beloved mother and grandmother! But stay tuned, there's more to come next week.

What's more, I haven't told you this, but I've been hard at work on another book with the working title: My Big Sister: Nancy Drew.

All of which has left me with little time to be bopping around town in search of bits of beauty à la française to share with you. I miss that part of my life, but as they say: First things first.
